From humble beginnings to an emerging business, this is another story of a collector who envisions Santa Claus as a collection. How mesmerizing is to have your collection as a museum?

A scene of Christmas décor and displays wouldn’t be complete without Santa Claus, a Christmas fixture who is believed to be a gift-giver to children (and children at heart). Jardin de Miramar’s Casa Santa has a breezy and cheery ambiance collection of white-bearded man dressed in red, known as Santa Claus.

This 50-year old remodeled two-storey Casa Santa, confined in the greens of Jardin De Miramar in Antipolo, holds a 3,005 (and counting) Santa Claus item collection from over 64 countries. The collection begun from Ms. Edna Nepomuceno-Del Rosario, who was given a 7-piece mini Santa set. Adorned by it, Edna began to purchase Santa Claus statues, figurines to kitchen wares and any imaginable. About 1,500 strong collections opened in 2005 for public viewing. Casa Santa has attracted lots of students, travelers, media and other tourists. Feeling giddy after spending about an hour viewing all the items? Guests can buy, bring merienda snacks to munch on and enjoy the lush garden grounds.
