Bayanihan Collectors Club (BCC) conducted an auction last November 12, 2017 at Scout Borromeo, Quezon Avenue, Quezon City. They are exhibiting Paper Money, Stamps, Books, Antiques, Ephemera, Prints and Maps, and anything collectible. The club was founded in Manila on May 24, 1979. It was fully accredited by the Central Bank of the Philippines as an organization who recognizes the value of Philippine Numismatics. Later on October 16, 1981, it was registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission as a non-stock and non-profit corporation.
Their principal aim is to become an effective vehicle for appreciation of the country’s rich cultural and historical heritage especially on young generations. Collectors Hive (CH), as a social media platform for diverse collectors over the world, visited BCC during their auction for old monetary and vintage items.
The Team Collectors Hive together with CEO Mr. Frederick Puno has found valuable paper money bills such as 1945 Manuel L. Quezon Twenty Pesos, 1996 Cayman Islands Currency Board One Dollar, 1949 Jose P. Rizal Dalawang Piso….. You can even find 1948 El Banco Espanol-Filipino De Isabel II Fifty Pesos.
Surely, there will be more auctions to come.
