Here are the rough expectations of the upcoming movie. Infinity War is currently breaking records, with fans lurking to check their next moves. The spin-off films like Ant-Man and the Wasp and Captain Marvel are much awaited, but more pertinently, ‘Avengers 4’ which might be released by next May to resolve Infinity War’s shocking final moments.
Shocking ending
Thanos (Josh Brolin) collected all six Infinity Stones, effortlessly defeating the combined teams of Avengers. He finally carried out his grand plan – erasing half of the universe’s population with the snap of his fingers. Probably he wants to “solve” the overpopulation. Just kidding.
He could have inherited galaxy’s wealth but our heroes dusted off. They are Bucky, Falcon, Spider-Man, Black Panther, Star-Lord, Drax, Mantis, Doctor Strange, Groot, Scarlet Witch, Nick Fury and Maria Hill.
Heroes killed before the finger snap were Vision, Heimdall, Gamora, and Loki (hero, maybe?). Original Avengers Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, Rocket, Black Widow. Okoye, M’Baku, War Machine, and Nebula were left unscathed. Ant-Man and Hawkeye were not in the film.
Who died?
Probably Vision, Loki, and Gamora really died, because they weren’t part of Thanos’ Infinity Gauntlet snap so it’s irreversible.
And the survivors?
Rocket Raccoon from the Guardians and Nebula might travel into space and take down Thanos. According to some sources, War Machine is to be joined by Hawkeye and Ant-Man and give mass exodus at ‘Avengers 4’. Meanwhile, the Quantum realm could play a major role in Ant-Man and the Wasp, where it became the resting place of the original Wasp (after she shrunk too small and merge between molecules).
The trailer shows Dr. Pym and Ant-Man back in the Quantum realm, it seems they’re getting Wasp back – so this could be an access to a new dimension for Avengers to battle Thanos. We are very intrigued too as to how they play out.
Captain Marvel?
Among ‘Avengers 4’ heroic moments will be Captain Marvel. She might be flying around to the rescue and shine out.
Doctor Strange’s Plan
Recap from Infinity War, Doctor Strange swaps the Time Stone for Iron Man’s life, before uttering some comments “the only way” and “in the endgame now”. He foresaw that Iron Man could reverse Thanos’ Infinity Gauntlet effects. We’d be surprised to see how he manages to find solutions to Thanos’ unforgiving actions.
Iron Man is reprimanded for learning on the Cauldron of the Cosmos, an item to peer back in time. Stark’s (Iron Man) BARF technology from Civil War plays a major role, wherein technology projects memories.
What else happens to ‘Avengers 4’?
Infinity War is a mixture of two comic book storylines: Jonathan Hickman’s 2013 Infinity and Jim Starlin’s 1991 Infinity Gauntlet. Both can provide ‘Avengers 4’ hints. In Infinity Gauntlet, the souls are destroyed by a soul stone and transported to Soul World – a universe that exists only inside a stone. A character named Adam Warlock is able to communicate the stones from Soul World. Since Thanos’ confidence blurs and mourns for his daughter Gamora, daughter Nebula can conquer their father.
There’s a rough impression that Avengers will have reversed Thanos’ actions somehow, and brought back all heroes. Seeing every single character onscreen all battling him.
“I can’t really talk about that scene, but I knew it took them three months in planning this scene to have everyone there,” Sebastian Stan says.
More presumptions? Some space-travel devilry, the return of Hulk, Captain America, and Nebula’s important story, take a scene where the original Avengers control on each Infinity stone.
Rumors also abound there will be a departure of longstanding heroes like Iron Man and Captain America. New heroes Captain Marvel and Black Panther come through to lead Avengers, alongside news bite are characters Eternals, Fantastic 4 and the X-Men could be coming into the fold.
